Abstract

This article examines the main requirements for special personal protective clothing used when working with quarantine and highly dangerous infectious diseases. In particular, the protective properties, material quality, design features, hygienic requirements, and rules of use of anti-plague suits, gloves, protective footwear, eye and face protection equipment, as well as masks and respirators are analyzed. The study employed analytical and comparative methods based on regulatory documents, sanitary rules, recommendations of the World Health Organization, and scientific literature. The results showed that the effectiveness of personal protective equipment directly depends on the quality of materials, compliance with established standards, and proper use. The article substantiates the importance of proper selection, use, disinfection, storage, and disposal of personal protective equipment for specialists working with quarantine and highly dangerous infectious diseases.
