Abstract

This study is dedicated to a comprehensive investigation of the adaptive characteristics of the cardiovascular system in Uzbek athletes (n=180) and military personnel (n=120). Electrocardiographic and echocardiographic examination methods were employed. The results were compared with the 2022 "Sports Cardiology" guidelines of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and the AHA/ACC recommendations. In Uzbek athletes, a widening of the QRS complex (53%), high hypertrophy indices, and age-dependent dynamics were identified. A tendency towards concentric hypertrophy was observed in military personnel. The necessity of adapting international guidelines to local conditions is indicated
