Immunogenetic studies were conducted to study the characteristics of interleukin-6 synthesis and the frequency of occurrence of its polymorphic variant rs1800795 in women with external genital endometriosis in the Uzbek population. The results obtained indicate that the increased synthesis of the serum level of IL-6 with the studied polymorphism in the group of women with impaired reproductive function is of a predisposing nature in the GG genotype and, in combination with many reasons, may be one of the factors causing the formation of heterotopias in EGE with subsequent infertility, while the CG and CC genotypes, on the contrary, have a protective effect.
